My role is Content and Social Media Manager. I oversee our organic social media presence across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter, and write content for our website, Stability Hub, social media, emails and marketing. While I sit within the marketing and growth team, a lot of my projects involve working with colleagues in design, customer operations, HR, finance, data, engineering and credit operations. I'm passionate about sustainability and second-hand fashion, so regularly find ways to bring that into the office - whether through introducing recycling bins, including money-saving sustainability tips in our content plan, or advocating for buying preloved items at Christmas!
I've worked in social media across a variety of sectors including higher education, art and religion. A highlight was managing the Church of England's social media for two and a half years, which gave me the opportunity to work on huge national projects with Parliament and Buckingham Palace, and saw my work secure industry awards. Before my starting my career, I had an amazing three years studying Drama, Theatre and Performance at the University of Roehampton.
I was the 37th employee at Creditspring, and only the second person in the Marketing Team when I joined a year ago. Needless to say, there's been a lot of change and growth since then! My team is now seven people strong, and the company has more than doubled in number, which is testament to our growth as a business and company culture. Starting in such a tiny team meant that I had to be a generalist, and do everything from email marketing to PR, but our expansion has allowed me to start focusing back on social and content.
Our team is the best thing about Creditspring. I actually want to come into the office, even though we're able to work from home as much as we like. It's so inspiring to work in an environment where everyone cares about each other and is more than happy to help out. I love it!
