Why do I need an active direct debit mandate?

As part of your credit agreement, both Core and Plus members have agreed to pay us via direct debit. We accept one-off payments from other sources but it is a part of member's agreement with us to have an active direct debit.

We have chosen this method of payment to help customers manage their own payments. If you are unable to make a payment this month you can cancel your direct debit with us (payments can be processed by the bank up to 2 working days before they are due so please do this early if you are going to). Once you are able to pay you can reinstate the mandate (here); giving our customers flexibility and control.

Please note that late payments are required to be reported to the credit rating agencies as per their latest guidelines.
